With a EuroCave wine cabinet, you have chosen a reliable and precise home for your wines while investing in your quality of life.
To ensure that temperature and humidity remain consistently within the ideal range, a few simple but essential points must be observed.
In this article, you will learn how to maintain your wine cabinet on a daily basis and when a professional service is recommended,
so that your wines can mature under perfect conditions.
Setting the right temperature
The intuitive control panel allows easy access to the temperature settings.
For long-term storage, a temperature of around 12 °C is ideal for all wines, including sparkling wines.
Serving temperature, on the other hand, is highly subjective and depends on factors such as the type of service,
the time spent in the glass and, of course, the wine itself.
Adjust the temperature to suit your personal preferences.
For multi-temperature models (prefix “S” in the model name), please ensure that the difference
between the set temperatures is at least 10 °C.
Location and loading
Your EuroCave cabinet should be installed in an open space (not inside a closed cupboard*), away from direct sunlight
and heat sources such as fireplaces or heaters.
Ambient humidity should remain below 85% and room temperature should be between 5 and 30 °C.
Regardless of the temperature zones and selected settings, your wine cabinet should ideally be filled to around 75% of its capacity.
When loading bottles, make sure that none are in contact with the rear wall.
These factors help maintain temperature stability and proper humidity management inside the cabinet.
Regular maintenance
Small but essential: the charcoal filter
The charcoal filter plays a key role in air circulation, humidity regulation and odour neutralisation.
Your wine cabinet is equipped with an automatic filter monitoring system that indicates when the filter needs to be replaced.
Under normal conditions, a filter has a service life of approximately 12 months.
In specific environments, such as smoking lounges, replacement after 6 months is recommended.
Order replacement filters conveniently from our online shop or take advantage of a subscription that includes a complimentary filter
and complete peace of mind when it comes to timely replacement.
Cleaning the interior and cabinet
For exterior cleaning, we recommend using a slightly damp microfibre cloth and a standard glass cleaner.
The durable materials are easy to maintain and preserve the cabinet’s premium appearance.
Once a year, or as required, it is advisable to empty the cabinet, switch it off and clean all shelves and interior surfaces.
Be sure to rinse the drain located at the bottom of the cabinet.

Malfunctions and when to request service
Humidity issues in the wine cabinet
Excessive humidity can encourage mould growth and cause wine labels to peel.
In this case, check the drain and remove the humidity cassette (mono-temperature models only) if installed.
Ensure that the door closes properly, the filter has not exceeded its service life
and that the ambient room humidity is not excessively high.
If your mono-temperature cabinet displays humidity below 55% or triggers an alarm,
place the supplied humidity cassette under the base grille.
Before first use, soak it in water for 1–2 hours.
Monitor the humidity display and, if necessary, add around 200 ml of water after a few days.
Once the target humidity has been reached, remove and dry the cassette.
If you notice a change in the colour of the clay beads, order a replacement cassette from our online shop.
The wine cabinet does not cool sufficiently
Reduced cooling performance is indicated by rising temperatures inside the cabinet and may be accompanied
by heavy, snow-like ice formation on the rear wall.
In this case, please contact us immediately so that we can inspect your EuroCave cabinet.
